The village of Blair Atholl is a small town in Perthshire. There are many sightseeing places to visit; Blair Castle is the home to the Duke of Atholl who has his private army The Atholl Highlanders. Blair Castle hosts the four day Blair Castle Horse Trials. A short drive away is the famous House of Bruar renowned for its country clothing, food hall and restaurant, Loch Tummel, Queen's View, Falls of Bruar, Atholl Country Life Museum to name a few. 
The town has a convenience store, Hotels, Garage Water Mill Café and other small shops.

There is also a Railway Station offers rail links to both North and South
The road network is very good as Blair Atholl is accessed from the A9 linking the area to the North, Pitlochry, Central Belt can all be reached within I hour's drive time.

Airports can be found at Aberdeen 108 miles, Edinburgh 75 miles and Glasgow 98.6 miles Dundee Airport 55.7 miles this airport only does flights to Stansted London.

There is a bus service to Perth and a Citylink bus service to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness. A local bus goes to Pitlochry, Faskally, Killicrankie and Calvine.

Facilities for the sporting enthusiast include Golf, Fishing, Walking, and Hill Climbing, Cycling and Bungee jumping and Segway.

Schooling: Primary school at Blair Atholl and Secondary schooling at Pitlochry. Private schools include Kilgraston, Craigclowan, Glenalmond College, Strathallan, Ardvreck and Morrisons. 

Pitlochry approximately 6 miles south has all the usual facilities and attractions of a small town.
