Pitlochry
Pitlochry is situated on the River Tummel which has developed into a tourist resort, which is known as the centre of hill walking.
It became popular due to Queen Victoria visiting 1842. The introduction of the railway in 1863 brought people in their droves to visit the glorious scenery. Useful Information:
