Meikleour

Meikleour is a village in Perthshire. Approximately twelve miles north of Perth and four miles south of Blairgowrie. It is home to the Beech Hedges, the tallest and longest hedge in the world.  Meikleour is internationally renowned for one of the best salmon fishing beats in Scotland. The Meikleour Arms was first established as a Coaach and Posting house for the Inverness-Edinburgh route and then as a fishing lodge, it has been welcoming visitors for over 200 yeatrs.
