Dunkeld and Birnam
Dunkeld is a small town in Strathtay about 15 miles north of Perth on the opposite side of the Tay is the Victorian village of Birnam. These towns share a railway station on the Highland mainline which is the gateway to the North.
Dunkeld is said to be founded or built by the king of the Picts. The history of Dunkeld can be traced back to 9th century. Useful Information:
